Darting, dancing,
Flitting, prancing
From petal to petal, to and fro.
Dipping, skipping,
Tasting, sipping,
My sunlit stripes all aglow.
Whirling, twirling,
Spinning, swirling,
Ggossamer wings putting on quite a show.
Drifting, lifting,
Patterns shifting,
Visiting flowers all in a row.
Flying, shying,
Too soon dying,
A month of life, and away I must go.
