Of course, I believe in reincarnation.
I remember it all like it was yesterday. There I was, minding my own business like any proper pumpkin and doing my bit for the autumn color show, when along came that bratty Billy Bishop with a big honkin’ knife…
Don’t his parents know kids shouldn’t play with knives?

ha. that is a big step up from a pumpkin...nice car!
ReplyDeleteLove the humor and LOVE the car!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Poor pumpkin! This was so funny! That car is certainly unique!
ReplyDeleteIt took me awhile to realize the car actually has three wheels!
ReplyDeleteAt least I think it does...
Cool! :)
Very cute! Brings back memories of my days as Cinderella. At least I didn't wear a scary costume like that Monkey Man...
ReplyDeleteOMG This is so clever. Three wheels. WOOT!! Excellent 55. Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteNow that The Great Pumpkin..
ReplyDeleteA lovely bit of whimsy from your pen tonight Patti....I Love It!
Most Excellent 55 My Dear.
Next week should be very interesting.
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End!
I love it! Looks like Billy had a blow torch and some extra steel.
ReplyDeleteWhat is/was that? 1940 coupe modified? At first I thought Studebaker but the nose looks slightly upturned for that and I don't recognize those back fins. Where in the world did you find this picture? It's fantastic. Thanks for this lovely pumpkiny 55!
Nice one, and I bet it's an eco-friendly fuel system ;-)
ReplyDeleteFantastic 55! What pumpkin wouldn't wanna come back as that!
ReplyDeleteOh you wicked clever gal --- love the Halloween twist of a sense of humor, and the photo's .
ReplyDeleteWitch-fully good 55er
Joanny
lol - you are just too good!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing car photo. where on earth???
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought it might be some crazy Citroen model - but then I saw three wheels and I thought "Aha!! Buckminster Fuller built a three wheeled car. Maybe ..." but then no, his car looked like a hanging water balloon.
Excellent 55, by the way.
was billy part fairy godmother that he turned the pumpkin into such a nifty coach?
ReplyDeleteNothing better than photos to help your 55 come to life. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteYou're so much fun, Patti!
ReplyDeleteLove you and your original blog posts!
xo
So is that the cutting edge? :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific. Can that car REALLY be a pumpkin? You are so talented. I know you didn't do the pumpkin ( or did you? ) but your writing is always wonderful.
ReplyDeleteLove that car! What pumpkin wouldn't want that in his/her future! so much better than being a pie, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteGreat car. Second automotive themed 55 I've read today. Did I miss something?
ReplyDeleteWow! Billy is gooood!
ReplyDeleteThat's some kind of upgrade. Makes me wonder what I'll come back as?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visits, my friends. I'm pleased that you liked my little story of rein-CAR-nation.
ReplyDeleteI e-mailed those who asked specifically, but if the rest of you are wondering, the car is a 1937 Airomobile. There's lots of cool pictures of it on the web. I thought it was just so cute.
What a cool theme this one is!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin had a car like that in the 1970s. Begged his Dad to get him a car when he was a teen. So his Dad got him a 1957 Chevy and painted it international orange! Everyone in town knew where he was going. ;)
Gives a new spin to a lemon...
ReplyDeleteGreat 55 Patti
Love from the moon
Ha! Obviously, my pumpkin carving skills are nowhere near old Billy's! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat 55!

ReplyDeleteBratty boy indeed... or should I say poor parenting?! :))
VOILA! Pumpkin turned into a chariot--and was there blood on the sidewalk?
ReplyDeleteReally GOOD '55', Patti...
A twist on Cinderella! :-)
ReplyDeleteSeriously cute, Patti. Thanks for the smile.
