I love the idea of summer packing her bags, though -in truth- I'd like her to hang around for a little bit longer. Your glorious haiku and picture are getting me in the mood, just a little bit, for all the wonders of fall.
Typically, I love Fall - but this year I'm afraid Fall is going to come early and ugly - the trees will be bare in an instant and half the charm of the season will be lost. It's good to know, however, that she'll be back. Like a true Cubs fan - it's "Wait until NEXT year."

When I'm not in Massachusetts, you can find me following my muses hither and yon, shouting, "Hey, wait up!"

ReplyDeleteHere in Naples, summer just packs a 'carry-on', cause she'll be back each day for months to come.
