  4. zongrik, don't you dessert dwellers always says, "yeah, but it's a dry heat..."? I guess it's the difference between a sauna and an oven. Either way, it's still too much for me.

  6. The image of the humidity swelling is such an apt one because it suggests something that creeps up on you just as humidity does. We get shocking humidity in Sydney (sometimes close to 100%) and there is nothing to be done about it but glisten ( I was told at school that ladies don't sweat, they glisten. Haha.)
