1912 - Anthem of the Promised Land

“Only in America
Dreaming in red, white and blue
Only in America
Where we dream as big as we want to
We all get a chance
Everybody gets to dance
Only in America”

Except maybe…
The un-"equal," the unemployed,
The homeless, the under-fed,
And anyone whose face is
Black, brown, yellow or red.

  2. This needs to be said, over and over and over while some state boards of education are rewriting American history and while in my state of Kentucky a "historical" group from TN want us to put the Confederate flag on our license plates!

    Regression is ill advised.

  5. Amen. How many white presidents have had to produce their birth certificate to prove they were Americans? (That would be none, and no one ever even asked.) Excellent 55.

  8. Discrimination, prejudice, fear and plain old hatefulness are alive and well and keeping many Americans from having a chance.
